On 25 April 2023, the United Nations hosted a conference with the AI for the Planet Alliance. Organized by the Missions to the UN of France and Morocco and supported by BCG, the conference brought together climate AI leaders and innovators to discuss how AI can help fight climate change. OS-Climate CEO Truman Semans spoke on a panel titled “Unlocking the potential – key enablers to achieve the highest impact with AI”, along with Data leaders from the UNDP, Bezos Earth Fund, World Economic Forum, and a leading AI VC. The event was chaired by BCG’s global Vice Chair for Social Impact, Climate & Sustainability.
